was a massive parallel chess engine by [[Zach Wegner]] based on [[Anthony Cozzie|Anthony Cozzie's]] [[Zappa]], [[World Computer Chess Championship|World Champion]] of [[WCCC 2005|2005]]. Though still in retirement in that time, Anthony has given control of the program to Zach Wegner, who substantially tweaked all areas of the program to make a stronger chess player <ref>[https://www.game-ai-forum.org/icga-tournaments/program.php?id=58 Zappa's ICGA Tournaments] (includes Rondo)</ref>.
Rondo played the [[WCCC 2010]] and [[WCSC 2010]] in [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kanazawa,_Ishikawa Kanazawa], with [[Erdogan Günes]] continuing as [[:Category:Opening Book Author|opening book author]], and became runner-up in both tournaments, at the uniform hardware WCSC behind [[Shredder]], and at the open hardware WCCC running on a [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beckton_%28microprocessor%29#Beckton Beckton 7560 32 Core] behind [[Rybka]].
Rondo was declared [[ICGA InvestigationsRybka Controversy#2010|joint champion]] along with [[Thinker]] after the [[World Computer Chess Championship#RybkaDisqualification|disqualification]] of [[Rybka]] by the [[ICGA]] in June 2011.
