Risto Miikkulainen [1]

Risto Miikkulainen,
a Finnish American computer scientist and professor at the University of Texas at Austin. He holds a Ph.D. in computer science from University of California, Los Angeles under Michael G. Dyer on the topic of distributed artificial neural networks. His research focuses on biologically-inspired computation such as neuroevolution, i.e. evolving neural networks with genetic algorithms for sequential decision tasks such as robotics, games, and artificial life.
