Richard Allbert, (BlueFeverSoft)
a British machanical engineer with a master of engineering from University of Sheffield in 2004, currenty residing and working in Germany. His professional interests in the field of smart manufacturing centers on digital innovation along with agile software development and Scrum. As avocational computer chess programmer, Richard Allbert is author of the Chess Engine Communication Protocol and UCI compatible computer chess engines Lime and Jabba, and gave his over the board debut with Lime at the 2nd Programmers Tournament 2009. Under the pseudonym BlueFeverSoft [2] he further contributed to the chess programming community with the video series in programming a chess engine in C, the didactic chess program Vice, as well as a video series on a web based chess program JS Chess, written in JavaScript.
