Richard Allbert [1]

Richard Allbert,
a British mechanical engineer with a master of engineering from University of Sheffield in 2004, currenty residing and working in Germany. His professional interests in the field of smart manufacturing centers on digital innovation along with agile software development and Scrum. As avocational computer chess programmer, Richard Allbert is author of the Chess Engine Communication Protocol and UCI compatible computer chess engines Lime and Jabba, and gave his over the board debut with Lime at the 2nd Programmers Tournament 2009. He was also involved with BlueFeverSoft's contribution to the chess programming community with the video series in programming a chess engine in C [2] [3], and the didactic chess program Vice, and the video series on a web based chess program JS Chess, written in JavaScript.
