Olaf Jenkner [1]

Olaf Jenkner,
a German mathematician, chess composer, former board member of the German chess composition society Die Schwalbe [2] and programmer. In the early 80s, he was affiliated with the Department of Mathematics at the Chemnitz University of Technology, then the Technical University Karl-Marx-Stadt where he was member of the special class of mathematics, physics and technology. Olaf Jenkner is author of the Orthodox Chess Problem solving program Gustav, initially developed from 1990 until 1993 under the MS-DOS operating system, and actually available as Windows edition Gustav 4.0 [3].
