Nejmet [1] [2]

Nejmet,
a Chess Engine Communication Protocol and UCI compatible chess engine by Jean-Christophe Gabillard. Nemjet's development started in 1997, it performs the ABDADA parallel search algorithm, is able to learn avoiding bad lines from its opening book, and can probe Nalimov Tablebases [3]. Nejmet played the FCCC 1998, the FCCC 1999 and Massy 2000, and is Arena partner engine [4].

Etymology

Nejmet's name is dedicated to the Soviet chess player, chess writer, and checkers player Rachid Nejmetdinov, who was a strong positional player [5]. A further epynom is Queen Nejmet from Ancient Egypt. A page of her papyrus (Nodjmet's Book of the Dead) illustrates the final stage of the Pharaoh's journey in the Duat [6] [7].
