Movei,<br/>
a WinBoard and UCI compliant chess engine by Uri Blass. Movei is written in C around a legal move generator and initial Perft framework, also gathering attack and mobility informations as used in evaluation.
As mentioned by Uri, the evaluation of Movei is dependent on the path and not only on the leaf position . The transposition table was at least initially not used for pruning, but only for move ordering. According to Uri, PVS and IID do not seem to work in his program .

Tournament Play
Movei played the WCCC 2004 in Ramat Gan, and on-line the CCT5, CCT6 and CCT7 tournaments.
