Millennium Chess System, (MCS)
a commercial Windows 32-bit compliant chess GUI developed by Adrian Millett [1], and distributed by Millennium 2000 GmbH. MCS featured 2D or 3D graphics board and was able to play automated tournaments. Using a proprietary protocol, MCS was bundled with Chess Genius 6 and 6.5, Shredder 3 and 4 [2], Nimzo 2000, WChess 2000 and more native engines [3]. The Winboard adapter by Stefan Meyer-Kahlen [4], allowed to use WinBoard engines as well [5] [6].
