Mikhail Chudakov, (Mikhail Chudakoff, Михаил Чудаков)
a Russian electrical engineer and computer scientist. From 1981 until 1990 he was member of the Pioneer team around Mikhail Botvinnik [1] [2], where he was engaged in the final best-first search algorithm [3], and further, along with Vadim Mirniy and Boris Stilman et al. developed the Programmer's Workbench, a concurrent software development and configuration maintenance CASE tool for large-scale research projects [4].
