Michael (Mike) Leany,
an American computer scientist and programmer with interests in compiler construction, operating system design and development, game AI, computer chess, and NP-complete problems. As chess programmer, Mike is author of the chess engines Knightmare [1] , succeeded by Zilch [2], Vapor [3] and Tinman.
