Michael Genesereth [1]

Michael Robert Genesereth,
an American computer scientist and professor in the Computer Science Department at Stanford University. He received his Ph.D. in applied mathematics from Harvard University in 1979 under Joel Moses. He is known for his work on computational logic and applications of that work in enterprise management, computational law, and General Game Playing. Along with Richard Fikes et al., he created the Knowledge Interchange Format, with Nathaniel Love et al., he designed the Game Description Language (GDL).
