Martin Borriss [1]

Martin Borriss,
a German chess international master [2] and computer scientist with expertise in real-time operating systems, Linux kernel, network programming, system programming, and high-speed communication [3]. He holds a diploma degree and Ph.D. both from TU Dresden in 1994 and 1998 respectively. As computer chess programmer, Martin Borriss is author of the free open source engine Gullydeckel, which supports the Chess Engine Communication Protocol [4].
