Mariusz Rostek [1]

Mariusz Rostek,
a Polish computer scientist and electrical engineer with a Diploma degree in 2008 from Technical University of Łódź under advisor Maciej Szmit on the topic of computer chess and chess programming [2]. He is author of the chess programs Szeregowiec, Sierżant and Porucznik [3], evolving over the years with different names borrowed from military ranking according to its playing strength, from Private to Sergeant and Poruchik or Lieutenant so far. Sierżant is also subject of Mariusz' thesis.
