Manlio Morini,
an Italian software developer, operating EOS Development developing and providing software for businesses and developers, IT consultancy, maintenance and repair of hardware components and their supply in specific projects. In the late 90s, he developed the Chess Engine Communication Protocol compliant chess engine Joker, in 2017 published on Github as open source as "historical" artifact, under the terms of the MIT license [2]. His new open source engine Testudo was designed with the goals of simplicity and correctness in mind, and interfaces with his genetic programming framework Vita [3] to establish a flexible test-bed for artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques [4].
