The Man vs Machine Team Championship, October 6 to 9, 2004, and its follow up, the People vs Computers World Chess Team Match, November 20 to 23, 2005, both held in Bilbao, Spain, were sanctioned by the ICGA [2] . The organization was led by Andoni Madariaga, contacts to the chess world (FIDE) and the computer chess world (ICGA) were performed by Leontxo Garcia. The arbitrary selection of the three programs raised some discussions [3] .
