Louis Philip Zulli,
an American mathematician and associate professor at department of mathematics, Lafayette College, Easton, Pennsylvania, with special interests in knot theory, low-dimensional topology and linear algebra over Z/2Z [1]. He holds a Ph.D. from Cornell University in 1993 under Allen Hatcher, where he introduced a way to calculate the Jones polynomial [2] of a knot using a symmetric matrix, called the trip matrix, over Z/2Z [3]. His none professional interests include chess and chess programming, in particular open source engines for the Apple Macintosh such as Crafty and Stockfish, parallel search topics, and writing his own engine Kirby [4] [5].
