Klaus Dieter Langer,
operator and pretended author of Quickstep, a chess computer and program which entered the WMCCC 1989 in Portorož and appeared to be an unauthorized version of the Mephisto Almeria program by Richard Lang [1].
Quickstep and Mr. Langer were disqualified from the tournament after round 7
[2].
