Home * People * John T. Bell

John T. Bell,
an American businessman, programmer and from 1983 until 1999 operator of the home computer software developing and trading company EdTech Associates Inc., located in College Park, Maryland [1]. Along with David Hendricks, John T. Bell is co-author of the early DOS chess program EdChess. While David Hendricks was responsible for the chess playing algorithm, John T. Bell worked on the interface and designed the chessboard using the IBM special character set [2].
