Jean Hayes Michie [1]

Jean E. Hayes Michie (Jean E. Hayes-Michie, née Crouch, died in 2002),
was a British AI scientist, research associate at University of Edinburgh, co-editor of the Machine Intelligence series [2], and Secretary of the Turing Trust since its inception in 1975 [3]. Jean Hayes was the third wife of Donald Michie, married in 1971. Her research interest covered Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Along with David Levy she reported on the First World Computer Chess Championship 1974 in Stockholm. Jean Hayes Michie died from cancer in 2002 [4].
