Jean-François Romang,
a French computer scientist and chess programmer. Along with Raphael Grundrich and Thomas Adolph, Jean-Francois Romang is co-author of the Chess Engine Communication Protocol and UCI compatible chess engine Cassandre, which started as a student project at Louis Pasteur University, Strasbourg [2]. Along with David Rabel, Jean-Francois is co-author the UCI compliant chess engine Gaïa, and wrote the Android UCI compliant GUI ChessPad [3] [4].

PicoChess

Jean-François Romang's project PicoChess is a dedicated chess computer based on Stockfish and DGT Board, in the meantime supported by Shivkumar Shivaji and Jürgen Précour.
