Jan Louwman was the Dutch pioneer of computer chess, supporting, advising and motivating programmers, beside others [[Ed Schroder|Ed Schröder]], [[Frans Morsch]] and [[Bart Weststrate]]. In 1980, Jan Louwman was co-founder of the Dutch Computer Chess Federation, the [[CSVN]].
