Gromit and GromitChess played several [[IPCCC|IPCCCs]], the [[WMCCC 1995]], [[WCCC 1999]] in Paderborn and the [[WMCCC 2001]] in Maastricht, where it won the title of the Amateur World Microcomputer Chess Champion.
