The inofficial 4th European Microcomputer Chess Championship was held September 28 to October 2, 1983 at the Barbican Centre in London, United Kingdom as part of the Personal Computer World Show, also known as the 6th PCW Microcomputer Chess Championship. John Nunn served as tournament director .
