He holds an engineer degree in CS from Pontifical University of Salamanca (UPS) in 2010, and a Ph.D. in CS from European University of Madrid in 2016. As computer chess programmer, Enrique Sánchez Acosta is author of the chess engine Alfil and the mission-based chess engine Chessaria AICE as part of Pixel Wizards' Chessaria: The Tactical Adventure released on Steam.
