Deuterium,
an UCI compatible chess engine by Ferdinand Mosca, initially based on TSCP or Tom's Simple Chess Program by Tom Kerrigan. With version 14.2.33.276, released in June 2014, the former Chess Engine Communication Protocol compliance was superseded by UCI [2].

Tournament Play

Deuterium participated at most ACCA World Computer Rapid Chess Championships, first in 2007, as well as most recent CCT Tournaments since CCT11. Over the board, Deuterium became third at the CCC 2009 4th Chess Computer Cup in Carugate, Italy, where it also played the 1st Italian Open Chess Software Cup in 2010.
