Daisuke Takahashi [1]

Daisuke Takahashi,
a Japanese mathematician, computer scientist and associate professor at Center for Computational Sciences, University of Tsukuba. His research interests include massively parallel and SIMD computing, Fast Fourier transform, and Monte-Carlo Tree Search applied to Shogi. He was holding the world record for computing the largest number of digits of π from 29 April 2009 to 31 December 2009 [2].
