The Third Livingston [1] Chess960 Computer World Championship was held within the scope of the Chess Classic Mainz, Germany, August 15 - 17, 2007, organized by Hans-Walter Schmitt and his Chess Tigers [2]. Due to financial constraints the tournament was no longer an open tournament and four programs were invited, 2005 and 2006 champions Spike and Shredder, two times vice champion Jonny, and current Number One in the SSDF rating list [3] and WCCC 2007 champion Rybka. Hans Secelle served as arbiter, and Eric van Reem as Tournament director.
