Championship Chess, (TimeWare Chess)
a chess program by Chris Thornton for the Timex Sinclair 1000/Timex Sinclair 1500 and Sinclair ZX81 with 16K expansion [1], shipped in the US by Reston Publishing Company since 1983 [2]. Championship Chess was likely based on the Artic Computing programs ZX Chess and Spectrum Chess programs, written a Z80 machine language.
