Carmelo Calzerano,
an Italian senior software engineer graduated from University of Pisa in 1998. As computer chess programmer and founding member of the Gruppo Scacchi e Informatica, he is author of the chess engine Leila [2], which won the 1st Campionato Italiano per Programmi Scacchistici 2001 in Pisa.
