BYTE [1]

Byte Magazine, (BYTE)
a monthly microcomputer periodical, published from September 1975 until July 1998 [2]. In spring of 1979, owner/publisher BYTE Publications, Inc., Virginia Williamson sold the magazine to McGraw-Hill. The readership of Byte and advertising revenue were declining when McGraw-Hill sold the magazine to CMP Media, who ceased publication with the July 1998 issue. Specially Volume 3, 1978 has various computer chess related articles. Most BYTE Magazines are available in the Internet Archive [3].
