Brian Richardson,
a retired American IT professional [2] holding a B.Sc. Computer Science from Rutgers University in 1978. Doing computer chess since 1971, Brian Richardson is author of the private Chess Engine Communication Protocol compatible chess engine Tinker. More recently, inspired by the AlphaGo and AlphaZero publications along with the open source developments around Leela Chess Zero, Brian tinkers around with neural networks and Monte-Carlo tree search [3].
