Bernd Owsnicki-Klewe [1]

Bernd Owsnicki-Klewe,
a German computer scientist and software developer, since 2005 lecturer at University of West Florida. He defended his Ph.D. in 1985 on Chess Knowledge Representation from University of Hamburg [2]. At the Advances in Computer Chess 4 conference 1984, Bernd Owsnicki and his fellow Kai von Luck discussed a method of plan construction in computer chess with results from its application in a program called N.N.. They illustrate three categories of possible errors, each with its own cause and each with a different level of solvability [3] [4].
