Armageddon,
a Polish chess program, a WinBoard compliant engine, optionally with an own GUI, written by Grzegorz Sidorowicz. Its first release comes from December 31, 1999, and the name is a pun based on prediction that the world would end in 2000 [2] .

Tournament Play

Armageddon regularly played the Polish Computer Chess Championship and became runner up at the PCCC 2002 and PCCC 2003. It further participated at the CCT3, CCT4 and CCT5 on-line tournaments.
