The 5th Aegon Man-Machine tournament took place from May 8 to 10, and 13 to 15, 1990, at Aegon Headquarters in The Hague, Netherlands. The one and only time, a computer won an Aegon tournament was HiTech with 5 out of 6. Its record was matched by Jeroen Piket and Edgar Blokhuis, both of whom also had 5 points, but inferior tie-break points.
