The '''Uniform-Platform Computer Chess Championship''' was initiated and organized by [[Don Beal]] at [[Queen Mary, University of London|Queen Mary and Westfield College]] of [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/London London]. There were three editions in the early 90s, using uniform platform [[IBM PC|IBM PCs]] with [[MS-DOS]] operating system. The first two editions had also a [[C]] group, all programs compiled with the same C Compiler and running on identical [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Workstation workstations]. All games were played automatically.
