Scott McDonald,
an American chess master, who worked with David Kittinger on the programs for dedicated Novag computers, notably the Constellation, the Super Constellation and the experimental versions coined Novag X competing as non commercial available entries at official tournaments [1]. Scott McDonald was chess advisor and presumably opening book author and operator.
