Joker NL
Joker,
a Chess Engine Communication Protocol compatible experimental chess program written by Harm Geert Muller for the purpose of trying out novel techniques, such as combining depth-first with breadth-first search algorithms, deep futility pruning [2], and differentially maintained attack tables and Pawn-structure evaluation [3]. In 2011, HGM stopped the work on Joker, and started a new engine named Spartacus instead, based on a 24x10 board [4].
