John E. Comeau, (February 26, 1930 - December 12, 2005 [1] [2])
was an American electrical engineer and industrial instructor at Digital Equipment Corporation in Maynard, Massachusetts. He was author of the chess program CHEKMO-II for the PDP-8 [3] [4] [5].
