Cheng-Wei Chou, (周政緯)
a Taiwanese linguist, computer scientist, affiliated with the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, National Dong Hwa University (NDHU), Hualien.
He received a B.Sc. degree in Chinese language and Chinese literature from NDHU, a Master in CS and information engineering from Fu Jen Catholic University and his Ph.D. degree in CS and information engineering from NDHU in 2006, 2008, and 2013, respectively [2]. His research interests center around artificial intelligence and machine learning, and include Monte-Carlo Tree Search applied to the games of NoGo, Go and Chinese Dark Chess. For the latter game, along with Shi-Jim Yen, he is author the program Diablo competing at Computer Olympiads [3].
