a Taiwanese Doctor of medicine at department of Radiation Oncology at Far Eastern Memorial Hospital in New Taipei [2], master in computer science from National Taiwan University [3], and games programmer with focus on Chinese Chess. Along with Tsan-sheng Hsu, Bing-Jie Shen is co-author of the Chinese Chess program TMSK and the Chinese Dark Chess program Sparrow.
